About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have fun with others, to discover new places, new cultures, new people, to enhance who I am, and to share it with others to give them the opportunity to enrich themselves at their turn. And to have fun again. :)

ABOUT ME

First of all, I am born. It was a very important day for me. The day when I have breathed for the first time, after having cried for the first time. The day when I have walked for the first time, just before to forgotten how to walk (and this was before I walk again several months after). A very important day.
After that I went to school, and to university, and here I am.

And the result is a tall boy (yeah, being 1m93 tall, it's being tall), a bit ridiculous (yeah, in France, to wear a hat every days is not so common), I hope to not be completely idiot (yeah, I know that 1+1=2 and that after 2 there is 3. Isn't a proof?), and with a uncommon sense of humor (yeah, and rare are the people who laugh at my jokes: most of time, I am the only one to understand them. But one day, a person will laugh!).

PHILOSOPHY

Hakuna Matata?
Seriously, the thing I love among all, it's to share some time discussing with some friends. I prefer "little" communities where you can learn to know each other, than big crowd where you are only "one unknown among the others you cannot know".
But I like to meet people I do not know: it's the occasion to renew every discussion, discover new ways to think, share new cultures...
And I like chewing-gum. Chewing-gum is something important in my life. Do you like chewing-gum? You too? Perfect! :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This section will be short: I never had any couchsurfing experience... Time to start, isn't it?

Interests

Being a computer engineer, you can imagine I am fond of computer, and you will be right. I also love drawing, photography, theater, reading Fantasy and SF books when I have time for... And horses too!
I work as volunteer camp counselor, within various organizations for young people.
I love discussions on every subjects... This is the way I love to interact with people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am really open minded about music, and in fact it's very hard to say which kind of music I completely dislike. I especially like Japanese music (thanks to a friend who give his good advice for finding good tapes) and Celtic music (thanks to a TV show where I have listened for the first time a song by Alan Stivell, which has been the start point for discovering other artists).

About cinema, again, I love to discover new movies. I am not fond of reviewing several times the same movie, and I could have pleasure with a lot of movies, even when they are not the top ones. Action, thriller, drama, comedy, animation, ... Almost everything is good for me, except horror movies.

Concerning books, as I said before, I especially like science fiction and fantasy. But since I have an ereader, I will try to use it for reading books of "classical literature": this kind of books are in the public domain, and in numeric version they do not cost anything. It's the occasion to access to an infinite world of literature! And who knows, perhaps I will love that?

For the art of the drawing, I like comic strips and manga, and in painting, I especially love the impressionism.

Music, cinema, literature, drawing, painting, ... What are the other arts? :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I never saved anyone from crocodiles, nor have ever jumped from a plane, nor have ever put my life in danger for a noble reason.

But I have worked to be able to take care of children during summer camp, for free, just for the pleasure to give a bit of my time like some persons have done for me when I was younger.
And I help my grand-mother for her television/internet/telephone/bulbs/photos/... It's more work than you can imagine! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Please learn me how to cook! I will learn you how to do the washing up / do the dishes (choose the version you prefer depending of your country)!
I could also teach you things about computer... How to do your first website perhaps? How to use new technologies?
Perhaps could we progress together in photography and drawing? I have solid basis, but a lack of experience.
