To meet people and visit places I couldn't otherwise afford to! (might be brutally honest, but... oh well ^^)

For movies and books I like a lot of different things, but definitely have a soft spot for fantasy/sci-fi... LotR, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Battlestar Galactica, books from Sanderson, Rothfuss or Jordan, for example.
