Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hong Kong, the city where I come from is a beautiful yet fast-paced city and somehow you feel stressed staying for a long time here. Sometimes living in HK a bit boring because most people are following the society norm of life, get a well-paid 9-6 job, save money to buy flats of unreasonably high price and sustain life in this expensive place. I used to think life should be like this until I met friends from other backgrounds. Meeting different people enables you to understand the bigger picture of life as a whole instead of seeing things from own perspective. It is great to find out what has shaped them to who they are now and learn important things about life through hearing their experience, especially when it’s something you might not have the chance to live yourself. Couchsurfing is a brilliant platform to connect people from various corners of the world and learn from each other.

I have quite a lot of hobbies but photography and edm are what I’m most into in recent days. I love English and French very much, I also enjoy cooking different cuisines.

Music, Movies, and Books

Used to play piano a lot and Frédéric Chopin is who I admire most. I also like electronic dance music so much because it brings a sense of energetic ease and the uplifting melodies turn my negativity into positivity. I listen to it every day and love going to edm festivals, many DJs are my favourites! Anybody going to Tomorrowland 2020? :D

I don't have a favourite movie, usually actions/mystery/spy films are what I'm interested:)

I always want to, but indeed I seldom read since I'm not that kind of person who can stick with a book all day. However I know books are pearls of wisdom, so don't forget to give me recommendations if you know any great book, and turn me into a bookaholic ;p
