About Me
As all the other says, this blank is really hard to fill with simple words! I l was born in Taipei,Taiwan and moved to U.K. for 3 years and then Netherland for 2 years when I was little, then moved back to Taiwan. My father is a businessman worked in Europe so he always took my family travel back and forth in Europe.I think that's one of the reason that I always have a fantasy about Europe cuz it reminds me of childhood memories.
My friends think I'm an adventurous person. I like to travel in my lovely city, especially walking between alleys. I pay attention to galleries, cafes and little stores that people seldom notice. I always think of myself as an easy-going person.I like to chat with people with different kinds of topic. It's always interesting to share some idea about every thing.
"Never afraid to try new things" is my life slogan. I like to try new things because it's exciting and I usually had a good experience. If it's awful,I won't be upset because it's so-called "life". I'm an outgoing and independent person.Although I don't have much traveling experience,I did enjoy each I've had. And I'm now saving money and working hard so that I can apply a MBA in Netherlands in the future. Hope I can fulfill my dream!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
World is big and we can't go to every places, knowing every single culture but we can exchange our experiences through Couchsurfing.
In fact,I don't have any idea about couchsurfing until one of my best friends told me about it. She couchsurfed during her trip to Thailand and made lots of friends. Since then, she recommends couchsurfing very much and we even met some couchsurfers when we have a trip together in Korea.
Last year, I went to Paris and I decided to explore this lovely city by couchsurfing. All I can say is, the experience of staying with locals is definitely the best part of my trip. They cooked French dishes for me and I cooked Taiwanese dishes. I taught them how to use chopstick and they taught me how to pour a glass of wine. I told them about the culture in Taiwan and they told me the equality of human beings that every one should be treated equally even to refugees. I will never forget the conversations and the happy times we had!
Interests
I am curious about the world and dream to go around the globe one day. In addition to famous landmarks of different countries, I'm more interested in the local's daily life. And definitely festivals!I like walking around in the city. When I walk a city block by block, you are forced to slow down and look at everything-I see more,I feel more.
I like photography.Love capturing the moment that I wanna remember forever.I can show you some photos I took if we meet.
I love all kinds of music.I listen to different types of music depends on how I feel at that moment. When I'm angry,I like listening to some rock and rap music. If I'm a little sad,I love pop music and Jazz. When I'm happy,I would listen to some electronic music.
I go to gym or go jogging at night near my home when I have free time.Love the atmosphere and view I see when exercising.I think exercise is the best way to keep me healthy and always in a good mood.
I love dogs and cats very much.I have a dachshund named Jenny at my home. She's twelve years old now and so adorable that I love her so much. Can't imagine life without her.
