ABOUT ME

I work at a startup company that is trying to help people find their passions in life.

My passion is building something that makes peoples' lives a little better. I think the way we teach and inspire kids is ripe for a massive change, and I hope that I can help with that.

I'm a pretty huge nerd. I like seeing where technology is going, and how it can enhance our lives. If someone comes out with a wireless heat motion sensing super lamp, you can be pretty sure I've already ordered two and taken apart one of them.

Being active and enjoying nature is really important to me. I moved down to Vancouver to get closer to the mountains, and I try to take advantage of that as often as I can. I love going on hikes, breathing fresh air, and skiing down mountains. I'm hoping to one day add rock climbing and base jumping to that list.

I'm a pretty driven guy, and I try to set fairly ambitious two year goals for myself. I haven't yet entered a 'travel phase', but I'm hoping to make that the next major change in my life.

Music is an importantpart of my life, but I don't have the relationship with it that some people do. I don't claim to know too much, but that just makes learning about it from people who do love it that much more fun (and I love that). The same goes for movies and TV - I love them, but they don't play a huge part in my life.

5 feet of rich pleather couch in all its glory. Actually, it pulls out into a Queen size sofa bed. It's really quite comfy!
