Hello couchsurfing community, I'm JN, currently travelling around the world after having finished university 2 years ago. I recently finished my working holiday visa in Japan, during which I skiied and taught skiing in deeeeep pow in Hokkaiko for 2 winters with a summer working on a beach in Okinawa in between. Never expected it but ive also been learning Japanese! (話せるよ〜〜) The best things in life just happen when you go with the flow eh.
I also had the chance to travel various parts of Asia last fall, having my first couch surfing experience in Mandalay, Myanmar, while traveling with a friend and I am now very excited for myself to no get into this awesome community. See you soon, JN

Sports (skiing, rock climbing, slacklining, soccer), chess (+shogi,xianqhi), reading, eating a lot (let's cook a nice meal!), occasionally drinking, traveling, deep discussions, trying to find a solution to our broken society, etc

Classic rock, metal, rap, electronic music, just try me.
Non fiction books, mostly about psychology or philosophy ATM.
I don't watch TV/movies/passive entertainment, rather do stuff or talk!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned Japanese during my Working Holiday which not only allowed me to make life lasting friendships, but got me an amazing job snorkeling and windsurfing in the ocean everyday, proving to me once again that seizing opportunity, hard work and dedication bring great things, or what others call "luck", upon you.

I can cook semi decently, can wash dishes extraordinarily, but mostly have to offer good conversation, idea sharing and the want to do fun stuff!
