I discovered CouchSurfing in Scotland in summer 2023, and it was a beautiful discovery and a rich adventure of meeting authentic new people. I'm eager to try the experience again and hope to do the same in Paris. 🙏🏼

📚🎓
I do live in Paris, where I’ve studied for 4 years medicine and practiced in hospital (not yet finished, just the beginning…). I am now undergoing a PhD in neuroscience about long term memory (LTM) formation, from physiology to pathology (broadly speaking, although I am focused on very particular fundamental aspects, both at a molecular and cellular levels). I’ve studied neuroscience in Paris, at the well known Pasteur Institute and in Sorbonne University, and I went to Alicante Neuroscience Institute as well. I’ve been 3 years at the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital in Paris, and I’ll soon be back.

It seems to me that science is a commendable way of observing and understanding the world, but of course, it falls short, as it hardly suffices: I am too fond of philosophy, literature, and the simple authenticity of a human relationship. I only care to think if it's for applying it concretely to real life - to contemplate one's life in order to live one's thoughts, that's what often drives me.

I have a soft spot for eclectic, genuine and humble people.

If there's one thing I relish and savor above all else, it's definitely ADVENTURE, whether it's through travels, friendly encounters, in nature, in the taste of life! I may not be the most « talkative » at first glance, as I'm more of an observant and introspective nature, appreciating genuine discussions and observation of others without language hypocrisy. I do love to engage in deep conversations that move us to the point of life-altering IMPACT. The authenticity of words matters greatly to me, and why not with a touch of artistic madness and sensitivity!

✒️
I love writing about life, reading about the lives of others - through literature or friends. I enjoy going out for a drink to engage in passionate discussions, to free ourselves, emancipate, and break free from the social masks that often conceal our daily faces. What a fulfillment to be able to show what truly stirs beneath our surface, in the deepest core of our being.

The style of travel that I find most appealing resides in a delicate balance that includes SPONTANEITY on-site, changing the day's itinerary for something we truly enjoy, and the ability to have educated ourselves beforehand about the place. Above all, I don't appreciate organized tourist trips by large agencies; I prefer the intimacy of a special connection with nature and the people we encounter. Being a responsible, respectful, and open-minded traveler seems essential to me.

I mainly dislike degrading entertainment. Instead, I cherish AUTHENTIC, deep, and life-changing encounters that hit you right in the face with their kindness and open-mindedness! It is true that I am rather young at twenty-two, but I believe that maturity and SENSITIVITY matter more than age - most of my friends are actually in their thirties! I don't appreciate superficiality much. On the other hand, I greatly value the lightness of two souls facing life's difficulties, who manage to find much joy in simplicity.

I spent much of my childhood in the countryside, and that's probably what first drew me closer to nature. Then, as I experienced city life, I felt the need for nature in my life for my well-being. The wind in the trees, the birds, the cold water of streams, storms, rocks, and the geological richness of the soil.

Studying, learning, discovering new things, and establishing connexions with what is already in my mind is part of most of my time.
