I'm a 20 year old student at the University of Ottawa in Canada. I am currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering there. I'm staying in Lyon in France this summer. I am working in a Catalysis Lab for the summer and I'm taking this opportunity to visit Europe at the same time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel like Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to get fully immersed into a new city. It is affordable and also grants you the advantage of staying with a local and see the city with his perspective. It is also a great opportunity to meet new people which is great.

Reading is one of my favorite activities. I enjoy a lot of different books. Ranging from novels to biographies as well as scientific texts. About music, I enjoy most genres. I listen to music mostly when I'm running or need to focus on my assignments! I'm not that much of a movie fan but, some of my favorite series are Game of Thrones and Sense8"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm actually living the most amazing experience of my life right now. I work in a lab in my field for the summer and I get to visit Europe all at once. I feel truly lucky to discover all of those diverse cultures"

I participated in a provincial marketing competition as a high school student. My team and I actually managed to bring home the 3rd place.
