Overview
About Me
I grew up in eastern Canada, in a small village of about 500 citizens in the middle of nowhere ! As I've always been passionate by science, my studies brought me to Montreal a few years ago to study physics engineering at Polytechnique Montreal. In 2015, I lived in Lausanne, Switzerland, for 6 months as I was in exchange at EPFL. It was an awesome experience and definitely want to return in Europe once in a while. I consider myself as open-minded, honest, pragmatic and reliable and I love to meet new people !
I've been trying to learn German for a while using Duolingo, but it got serious a year ago when I started attending formal university courses with credits and stuff. My next travel will be in Germany where I'll go for a 3 week immersion !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is an essential tool for everyone who wants to travel. For sure, it's a cheap way to find a places to sleep, but it's so much more. I realized during my exchange that I don't want to travel to see the mainstream stuff but to meet the locals, see small bands and drink local bier. So, we can say that I am on Couchsurfing mostly for the opportunities to meet people, be introduced into their world and, by the way, find a cheap somewhere to sleep !
Interests
Science, of course, but also music and show management. I've been involved since 2011 in the management/organisation of shows at my university. I know well the underground bands from Montreal and I would like to discover the underground scene of the cities of my future trips. I also play guitar and bass quite well.
