I'm very curious about visiting new places, countries, meeting up with new people. I enjoy being with friends, diners and enjoy a good wine and scotch. I also love to learn new languages, discover new music, and hopefully bring the same kind of discoveries to the people I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to host people, make them discover my region, show them places to go around, but being in a small, remote town in Quebec, Canada, people don't tend to come in this town. But there is beautiful national parks and nature, as well as many wonderful people to meet here. Might not be the first choice, but you won't regret it, winter or summertime.

Interests

Meet up with new people, music from playing guitar, going to live concerts or just enjoying a good CD in my place or during a road trip. I also like to cook or enjoy a good restaurant, try new places or new meals I haven't tried before. I'm also a big fan of scotch whisky.

I also like to learn new languages, to be able to reach out to people when visiting a new country.

I would like to improve my Spanish, guitar skills, learn to cook new meals. I can maybe teach some French or English, and some history about Canada, having studied to be an high school history teacher, so I'm very curious about lots of stuff.
