About Me

Tourism bachelor, Botafogo fan. I like to travel, know new places, new people, music, movies, cartoons, pets, nature... well, know me and discover more about me :)
Notice that I don't live in the city Rio de Janeiro, I live in Maricá, which is 50km (or 32 miles) far from Rio (2h30 from bus, with no traffic). The bus taxes are also a little bit expensive (R$20 if you don't have a Bilhete Único) and if you want to enjoy Rio hosted in my house prepare yourself to lose some money and time in public transportation.
If you still want to stay in my house, here are some tips: Niterói has good options of tourism, some small museums and fortresses and beaches in the oceanic area (bus taxes R$16 to Niteroi; inside Niteroi, buses cost R$3,80). Maricá has also some good things to do, without the same glamour as Rio, but also interesting to do, like the trekking of Elephant Rock, in Itaipuaçu; the trekking of Spar Cavern, in Spar; the Monkey Stone and the Itaocaia Rock; watch the sunset at Araçatiba Lagoon and/or in the Ponta Negra Lighthouse and enjoy the beach in Ponta Negra; and watch the waves of the southern atlantic sea in Itaipuaçu and Barra de Maricá. The buses here inside the city cost R$2,70. Mototaxi services has the same cost, I guess.
I live with my parents, that's why I'm "maybe accepting guests", cause it depends on them if I can host people or don't. We have 2 extra mattresses for single bed and 1 extra mattress for couple bed. But as I said, it depends on them to host people or don't, not on me :(
