About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hi! Currently living in Stockholm to finish off a masters, i suppose my mission for this next year is to Study and experience Europe as much as possible before I end up in the 'real' working world.
ABOUT ME
Open-minded, a thinker, quiet until I've had a few beers or have gotten to know someone well, love falling out of routine and exploring new places. I believe that travelling is a joy that makes humans better people, and we should all do as much of it as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
"Everything is good in moderation, including excess" - Family Moto
"We don't inherit the earth from out parents, we borrow it from our children" - Native American proverb
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I cannot host at the moment given that I live with a retired couple in Stockholm, but when this situation changes I look forward to it!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have plenty of friends that have been hosting and surfing before, but this is all sort of new to me. I did however grow up in a house in London, where we had three spare bedrooms and many spare sets of keys for family, friends, distant relatives and acquaintances to stay at ours when I was growing up. Basically I'm used to guest, visitors, and thus know how to behave like a good one.
Interests
The Environment and Sustainability! This is what I am studying!
In this day and age of science, there is so much that we now know about this planet, and so much which is evidently going wrong. It is our generation's duty to change things, to tackle a huge list of problems, and when travelling I often try to seek how it is that places have coped through crises in the past. I find it fascinating to see how people and cultures all adapt in the face of adversity, and think about how we can prepare for tomorrow.
Other than that, my more common interests lie in the fields of photography, music, rugby and football, surfing, cycling, going out, film, history, and lots more stuff!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling moments that left me awestruck? So many to recall. When Interailing around Europe on your own so much happens putting your finger on one thing is like describing a country with one word. A few highlights would be the sensations of skiing and surfing; partying on top of the world in the alps or amongst the best of friends; worked and lived in Africa; was brought up between three countries........
