My name is Jean, I'm 23 years old and I was born and raised in Alsace, France. Apart from being a student in biology for about 6 years (damn !), I love climbing, hiking and all other kinds of mountain sports. I'm also a musician and I love to bring my trumpet everywhere with me to jam with friends, or with great people I meet travelling. I can spend a whole night discussing about history of music around some cheap beers, remembering the great times of rock movements. I must confess that I like bad jokes, so be prepared... I am currently travelling with my lovely mexican girlfriend Diana (she's awesome). We met last year in Peru and I went to join her here in Mexico since last January. It's allways a pleasure for us to share stories and nice experiences with all kind of people !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing a few years ago, hosting people with my friend Malcolm in our nuclear flat in Strasbourg (France). We've allways had great times, and pleasure to introduce our guests to the peculiarities of the best city on Earth (as far as I know...).
I just finished my master degree in ecology in Mérida (Yucatan, Mexico) and we are about to hit the road with my girlfriend Diana. We plan to travel across Mexico and Guatemala for the next months.
