I am Jeanella Heusschen, 30 years old and I am born and raised in The Netherlands. I love to travel around the world and I came up with a good system to maintain this lifestyle. I work six months in The Netherlands, save all the money and then I travel six months.

I have done that for the last years and started with it after I finished my university. I have studied Communication Management and during this study I did an exchange semester in Thailand. I have studied 6 months at Bangkok University. I have had the time of my life there and that is when my travel addiction started! (until now I have visited 43 countries)

I always seek for adventures and I grab every chance that grosses my path to grow as a person.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I like to travel, share experiences and love to meet new people and other travelers. I enjoy having good conversations and I always try to meet local people when I visit a new country. Because then you will have an unique experience and most of the time you receive great advice about what to do in a city. Only then you will get to see and do things you would normally never experience if you only hang out with other tourists.

Intereses

Traveling, meeting new people, kickboxing, running, hiking, stand up comedy, having fun and going out.

Just enjoying life to the fullest. Life is short, smile while you still have teeth!

- I swam to an island in Malaysia back and forth, 2.8 kilometers off the coast.
- I was working and living in Lisbon for 8 months to learn how to speak Portuguese.
- I have worked as a volunteer in the Holland Heineken House in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during the summer Olympics 2016
