ABOUT ME

I've got itchy feet and an um.. itchy brain? basically the plan so far is to go to as many amazing places and learn from as many amazing people as I can :)

Truthfully though, it worries me that so many people ffling themselves around the world, desperately trying to 'find' that thing which is missing. Totally haunted by what I think is an almost consumerist attitude to people and places. But, just as capitalism and consumerism means we will never attain enough money, it also means we will never find that perfect destination. We are always wondering whats around the next corner... so all to often we end up places, taking pointless photos, buying pointless little things and having pointless conversations with other travellers. I'm terrified of being one of those tortured travellers, so to that end, I'm trying to do my own version of 'responsible travel'. I believe that travel can only be a rewarding experience if you deeply give yourself to a place and the people there. On this basis I've done a couple environmental projects, and now I'm throwing myself into WWOOFING and loving it! Check it out:
