My name is Jeanika, I study German and French literature, linguistics and culture studies in Bonn, Germany and Paris (where I’ve studied for a year).
I do feminist, antifascist and anti-capitalist activism.

In 2019 I was able to travel many countries on my own for the first time, which I‘m still super grateful for. I met many amazing people, also through Couchsurfing, in Lithuania, Poland, even India…

All in all I’d describe myself as uncomplicated, adaptable and quite spontaneous (well I love being spontaneous but my German mindset makes it hard sometimes, trying to work on that!)

Every year I look forward to the time I‘ll spend abroad, all the friends I‘m yet to meet and I hope to one day make a living on something that allows me to travel full time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a high-school student, I spent three months abroad in Québec, Canada. That might have been an incentive to my Wanderlust :)

My best Couchsurfing experience: Living in a beach hiuse in San Teodoro for a week and getting up for a sunrise swim every morning!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of laughs, meaningful conversations. As of January 2020 I‘m a certified Yoga instructor (I did a 200h training in Rishikesh, India) so I‘d love to practice Yoga with you!
