HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard so much about it from other travelers that I had to try it! More precisely, I met a French speaking Australian guy, Cameron, last summer in Beijing. He had been traveling for quite a long with CS, and was fond of it. I met him again in Chengdu, Sichuan province, where he was seeking for a job, and was living with 2 others CSers in a small flat. It was an awesome experience!
Now Iam home and ready to welcome fellow travelers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted Csurfers in my current flat in Paris 18 and former flat in Paris 14, had also a few guests in my parents house in south Paris... and couched a week in NYCity and a few days in China !

Intereses

music - especially brass, but I like to see musicians really enjoying their music, whichever the kind -, being less ignorant by seeing the world!..., drinking beers while talking with people from different backgrounds, about history, cultures, religions, politics, sustainable development
What else... I like being alone in the middle of nowhere just enjoying the sun, hitching, walking, jumping, snowboarding, Noam Chomsky philosophy and other things I guess!

Icelandic desert, Borobudur in Indonesia, sharks in Malaysia, the Great Wall in China, Angkor in Cambodia...
eating dog and spiders -very crispy-!! In New Zealand, skydiving, getting a tatoo during a Maori meeting!
In Mexico, the 15th of May social movements in Oaxaca, lived on a Carabian beach 6 weeks... Guatemala, 2 months learning Spanish and teaching on the Atitlan lake, 4 months in Casa Guatemala NGO, cooking food on lava!

I don t know if I can teach anything to anyone - or maybe a few things about France and Iceland. But what I really know is that I would like to share my experiences on travels and learn more about the countries I have never been to!
Now i know one primordial thing : teaching about environmental issues in developping countries is a key problem!
