About Me

Hello,
I'm a 52 yo man. I'm a teacher in Chemistry & Physics and I live in Nîmes downtown, often with some of my four children (16, 18, 20 and 22yo).
I love culture, discussion, walk, food, music. I'm open-minded and happy with my life and looking forward to meet people from all the parts of the World.

The City where I live, Nimes, is an old and interesting place, with one of the best preserved Roman Temple ("Maison Carree") and many other places to see. I'm living in the center of the city, which is very practical if you want to visit.

IMPORTANT : During Holidays and some week-ends I leave Nimes to my secondary house. In these cases I can't host you in Nimes but I definitely can in my second home. A good way to share some rural France experience.
Please check "Home description" for more details.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always very pleased to discuss with people from other Countries/Cultures. It helps so much to keep one's mind open and friendly ! Besides Nîmes is perfect to go out to a restaurant and share a good time (most of them are very affordable) or just have a drink in one of the numerous "Cafés" of the pedestrian streets and places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nobody believe me but I really did it. I rided a shark while diving in the Carribean ten years ago...

What I Can Share with Hosts

Depending how many of my 4 children are at home when you're passing by, I can offer you a bed, a matlass or a sofa. I would be pleased to guide you in the city and sit with you in a bar or a restaurant to share a good time (under the sun or late in the night).

Besides, a remark for couchsurfers who travel with very little money, make this point clear beforehand because I do go to (cheap) restaurants very often, and if you can't afford to spend 10€, then we'll have very little time to share.

A last thing: let me know you've read my profile at some point in your request. Any sentence as: 'like you I love rockclimbing' or 'unlike you I've never practiced rockclimbing' will do.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belize, Denmark, French Southern Territories, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Nicaragua, Panama, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
