About Me

Hello !
My name is Jeanne, I grew up in Israel and today I am a student for Middle East and Islam in Shalem College in Jerusalem.
As work; I guide graffiti and culinary tours around the country. I do so beacuse i love to show pepole another side of israel - through inside look. I really like art, which creates a meeting between people and crosses cultures.
I am very interested in Israeli-Palestinian politics and conflict - about which I teach youth groups.
Besides that, I traveled around the world, from the East to South America and the thing I particularly enjoyed was meeting people who were different from me. On the trip, I learned that it was the people who made it so meaningful and so it is important for me to create interesting encounters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the cool things I've had to do is volunteer in some countries where I've stayed - whether it's teaching English in Guatemala, renovating homes in Colombia, distributing food in India, and accompanying a girl with special needs in France. All these were done with the purpose of giving. Through giving, I also got to know people better and keep in touch with them later. Besides, I'm a graffiti artist and painter, and I love exploring cultures through their street art.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love history and politics, which are taught through the local narrative. Besides, I love walking around the streets and getting to know the city through my feet. I love teaching about my country, culture and everyday life. I can teach drawing, cooking local food, and the languages I know :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all, I love to cook authentic and Israeli food. Secondly, I would love to talk about any issue related to Israel - any legitimate question. I guarantee that the conversations will be made by mutual desire to learn and recognize. Besides, of course I would love to go out as friends and get to know common places and people :)
