ABOUT ME
I am an easy going person who likes to talk. Sometime's I can be qutie a storyteller, especially after a few drinks. I love wine. It's the nectar of the gods! I am interested in learning languages but haven't mastered any yet (well, ok, I do speak english but that's not interesting) I have tried French and am working on Greek. I am open to new things and I am not judgemental.
PHILOSOPHY
Go with the flow and follow your heart!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I did have a couch available in Sacramento. But, since moving to San Francisco, I no longer have room in my studio. I would love to show someone around and get a drink or coffee in the city though.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2007 I did a study abroad program and lived in London for a semester. My sister came to visit me and we traveled to Prague. Using couch surfers we stayed with an amazing woman there. She was so cool and even gave us a tour of the city. We got to see and hang out in local places. That was the experience I wanted. It was amazing!
In 2008 I used couchsurfing when I traveled back to the UK and met a great couple.
I have previously hosted a couple of times when I was in Sacramento. Hosting is fun, you see the city you live in through new eyes.
Interests
Some of this and that. I like to swim. I try to be active but it's an ongoing struggle to not be lazy. Sometimes I get creative and sew. Last year I made a few handbags and a throw blanket. I enjoy singing and have a couple of keroke jams.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like most music but I find myself listening to a lot of 70's classic rock, independent and documentary films and any good book. Recently, I have been reading a lot of self help books. It's a guilty pleasure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode my bike for 19 miles on a washed out road with very little light at night. It was scary and fun. By the time I got to my destination I felt amazing and exhilarated.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to speak French better!
