About Me

I never know what to say about myself...and I guess it's because I don't know where to start and what to say that would be relevant for this cathegory. But like most of people being or going to their 20's, I am lost. I think this would explain the fact that I am changing every two weeks my plans about my future. I went from the idea of studying in International Law then thought about becoming an Acupunturist, then considered being a Designer, then a Writer, then an Expert in Religious Science to finally decide that I wanted to go in Communication Marketing.

So this is me. Undecided, uncertain and full of contradictions.

However, there are some things that I am sure about myself. I like to travel and to discover new things, I like to live and to experience. Last summer I went to Morocco, did the ramadan with my friend for the simple reason of fully understanding the culture and the religion. Let me tell you that when you starve a whole day, you get to discover in yourself a whole new personnality. You become like an animal in survival mode...which is somewhat scary. This only happened to me, because food has such an important place in my life. After starving the whole day, lying on the ground half dead, crawling back to the table, we could enjoy all the food that was prepared. I swear I never ate that much in my whole life (seriously). You know, the moment after you ate so much that you begin to sweat just thinking about all the food you have in? Anyways, I guess I should say that my motivation is very strong. So either I am crazy, either I am just a dynamic girl who looks for great adventures. Or both.

I find myself in all those little things that can break the routine. I believe that there is no better way to learn about yourself than trying new things, and I try to apply this concept as much as I can, adapting other worldviews. I like having fun and meeting different types people. For me, having a good time with my friends and family is very important. At home, we often do little partys with very good food and wine. We can all get together and play guitar and sing. For me, this is happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to meet new people, to enlarge my world. To discover new things, make new friends, experience their culture, their city. I wish to have the opportunity making new interractions with people, but most of all, I want to see their city and their culture as they perceive it. Couchsurfing is an easy way to connect with people that share the same values.

Interests

I like cooking, I like taking the time of doing it. I like chocolate a lot...so I guess it can count as an interest because i have a strong dependance. I grew up in an artistic family, so we all sing and play an instrument. I play a little bit of guitar in my free times but I have a lot to improve. I like going to music shows and it is kind of an addiction for me, I like the feeling of being in the crowd, hearing the music, living the moment. I also like reading, writing, philosophy and watching good movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to indie folk and indie rock music like Alt-J, Bon Iver, Coldplay, Cage the Elephant, Foals, Of Monsters and Men, Arctic Monkeys. But I also listen some Kendrick Lamar and old french singers like Edith Piaf and George Brassens. I went to see in show Radiohead, Young the Giant, Half Moon Run, Walk the Moon, Journey, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Neighbouhood, Mumford and Sons, Indochine and the Australian Pink Floyd show. So I do not have a particular type of music. I really appreciate Paulo Coelho's books and my favorite one is The Alchemist. I really like listening movies like The Shinning, American Beauty, The Breakfast Club, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, and many more :)
