ABOUT ME

I am Rosilind giving a bio of my love who I adore. John is a multi-facet sexy guy. He was born in Eastern Canada. He is the oldest of six with an unbelievable mom and amazing dad. He has been involved in many different entities. He owned a very succesfull restaurant in Fredericton, Canada and is an accomplished chef. John has tried many professions, real estate, wine business (distributor), decorative concrete, recyled glass for projects and sale, etc. Has been sucessfull in all. Very knowledgeable about many areas; such as politics, current events, music, all kinds of sports, wine, travel.

I (Rosilind) was born and raised in New York City. Come from a large italian family. I am family oriented and have passed this trait onto my two boys. I moved to south Florida in the late sixties and always have missed the energy that New York City has. My passion is to travel and meet interesting people...it is an education for me. I have been to cities in Majorca, Spain, Paris, Portugal, Italy, Sicily, Germany, Austria, Switzland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We sent a donation to this organization. We are very new at this but would like to get involved. We experienced our first CS from Brazil. It was great fun to host and show him our area. Also, a great way to make new and interesting friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although we have not experienced CouchSurfing we are looking forward to the adventure. On August 23, 2010 we hosted our first CS and enjoyed showing him our city and having him for dinner. John and I will be traveling in Europe for 2 months and have corresponded with CSers that will host us. We are so excited about meeting different interesting people that we will consider our international friends.

Now that we traveled to Europe and couched surfed with 7 people which invited us back we can say it was a very positive and interesting experience. We made a wonderful conection with a couple that hosted us in Paris. We have hosted two people from Brazil which was enjoyable.

Interests

We are both interested in traveling to interesting places and meeting many people from different parts of the world. Sports; baseball, football, golf, tennis, Tour De France, car racing. Spend many hours at home cooking tasty meals. Enjoy having friends at our house for dinner and conversation. We enjoy many diferent wines and enjoy going to wine tastings and festivals.

Because we live in a subtropical climate we take adavantage and enjoy the beaches and ocean activities. Enjoy many kinds of music and attending concerts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, scuba diving, white-water rafting in Costa Rica, balloon trip over the Napa Valley in California and traveling to different parts of the world such as Thialand.

Our love of wine and wine tastings. How to turn discarded glass into agregrates for other projects. Enjoy cooking and eating good food.
