I am open-minded, friendly - and usually happy. Life is good for me at this time: I live in a lovely place, my family are content and well, and I have brilliant friends. I love interacting with people, and have friends of different ages and types. I am always keen to make new friends and try new experiences.

Stay open to life and get involved. Be kind. Don't take life - or yourself - too seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am someone who has lots of ideas, enthusiasms and plans - but I don't always not always carry them all to fruition (just as well!)I love writing; I am currently turning my diary of experiences in Java into something more coherent and I am also wring a play set in Birkenhead. The theatre and film really interest me.

Interests

How do I spend my time? I read, write, walk, exercise, talk and laugh. My passions are film and theatre. (I used to teach Drama and English.) I love puppets.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to mention and have eclectic tastes. Whilst in Java read Kate Atkinson's 'Life After Life', 'Eat, Pray, Love' and 'Twelve Years as a Slave'. Often re-read stuff by Milan Kundera, Fay Weldon Shakespeare and Jane Austen.
