About Me

I'm a great mix of opposites:
o reserved at first sight, but like to have passionnate debates about anything
o quite lazy in week-end mornings but always ready for a run with company
..... the list is long
One constant nevertheless: I like to meet with new people and share meals/ideas/events/languages!!!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting and sharing experiences is thus my first goal, but I'm really interested in sharing my flat or even sharing someone's flat while traveling.

Hosting and being hosted are the best ways to share one's way of life and/or one's experience of the surroundings. You're never told more funny tales than those of an incoming outsider: he or she experiences what was once alien to you and you discover it anew.

Interests

-cooking and tasting
-talking until late
-having parties with friends (where you can do both)
-hiking in the snow
-sailing (I'm not a pro, but what a pleasure!!!)
-visiting a city guided by the very pros that know it
-discovering new faces, new languages, and new places

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot of fantasy and science-fiction: Tolkien (long before the films), Dune and Robinson's Mars trilogy, and a bit of Zimmer Bradley's Darkover.
Some detective novels too, from Hillermann to Van Gulik, from Donna Leone to Arsène Lupin...

I like independent movies and some blockbusters too: Mommy next to Uncle Boonme and Wintersleep, some oldies like Four weddings and a funeral. Ieven kind of liked Divergent, so keep an openmind...

I'm a free listener, I listen to all what's been heartfully played, from metal to jazz, from electro to folk, even classical tunes.... Don't ever ask me what I prefer!!! ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dating someone who was guiding me through the city...

I promise this was totally exceptional. I usually keep calm when hosting or being hosted.

Nevertheless, it's been a pleasure ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking is the first thing to share. You learn how it's done when you're hosted, you teach when you host.

Singing is hard to teach, but you can teach a few tunes you know to your hosts and share whatever music you like to do.

Talking about your life here and there, your experiences in different countries and the next countries you'll visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hoho, I assume I already answered that one...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Italy, Spain, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
