Musik, Filme und Bücher

My music interest are very diverse, but i have a particular thing for 70s glam rock and 80s new wave. Favourite artists include David Bowie, Queen and Pet Shop Boys. Also like jazz and blues.
In terms of films trying to make my way through the classics and have really enjoyed/felt really moved by dr strengelove, schindlers list and the shawshank redemption. I sucker for a good political satire such as in the loop or the death of stalin. Marvel movies are a guilty pleasure.
It's been a while since iv'e gotten to read much outside of work, but my all time favorite novel is the lord of the rings trilogy which is pretty much unchanged since i was 8 years old. I have a think for long epics, and so really enjoyed war and piece, a fine balance and a hundred years of solitude.
