Just recently became a lawyer, so I'm trying to see as many places/do as many interesting things before I start my new job in September. In Europe till the end of July, then off to Japan in August.

Movies: Very difficult to narrow down... Favorites include Festen, Umberto D, The 400 Blows, Bamboozled, Vertigo, The Passenger, The Conversation, Cool Hand Luke and Brazil.

Music: Also pretty varied (e.g. Beck to Pulp to Serge Gainsbourg to Louis Armstrong to Gnarls Barkley)

Books: Been reading a lot of Cormac McCarthy lately. Other favorites include Martin Amis, Kafka, Umberto Eco, Irvine Welsh, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed an active volcano with a guide who proceeded to get drunk and pass out. Later discovered that no other guides would take people up since an eruption is expected...
