ABOUT ME

Well... talking about myself is always difficult as and the best is to make you own mind about it...
But anyway let's give it a try.
I like to think I'm quite open-minded, and I like to share simple experiences like a walk in paris, long talks and stuff like that.
This is the cool thing about CS : new things to do happen so easily :)

As a general rule I'm not very exuberant. I'm pretty calm, and I like to take my time to do things. It's my way of inverting paris speeded up way of life !
I'm also a bit contradictory, as I hate to do things "like the others" even if it is sometime in my depend lol !
I like to philosophize sometime, about anything that seems interesting. It's more reflections than real philosophy actually, but I love to share them with others when they get interested too.

In life I'm not really the-guy-who-party-all-week-long, but I like to have fun with friends anyway, get some night walks in paris (when I'm don't feel to lazy to walk lol !), or have a cool drink on a terrasse or go and party if there's some heavy sound somewhere. :)
My point is to get some "cool instants" if possible, and sometime it's just made of a very few things... drinking an orange juice on my shiny kitchen, having an ice-cream and spreading it all on your shirt because you tried to get the chocolate which was under the damn vanilla, suffocating because of a candy I ate to quickly, cooking a chocolate cake and getting at the end an "half chocolate cake" because of my greed... you see the point ^^
No, food is not my only passion for sure !

I also love music and arts. But I hate cumulating knowledge about it. That's weird I know but I'm part of those who think arts can be appreciated even if you know absolutely nothing about it. It's also the best way to get his own view / sensibilty of it.

Well, I think for a first try that's not too bad, you get a strange portrait of me there, and I think it's the best I could expect :)

Well, you got a picture of it already I guess, but to sum up I would say that I try to get my place in that world, and I think sharing and friendship can do better than greed and money :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate CS by hosting mostly, but I intend to go on a trip sooner or later, i count on you to host me my friends all over the world :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I already had a dozen of couchsurfers, and they were all great people ! I really enjoyed all my CS.
I'm always happy to meet new CS, but I had to lower the hosting rate as it became a little "too much" in the past. I now host sometime to keep in contact with the community without getting my whole life involved in CS.

Interesses

Nothing especially, and everything at the same time.
Everything that make me learn something is good for me (all but arts lol !).
I also compose some electronic music if you fancy that.
I'm a quite big reader, but as I never do like the others, I only read science-fiction books, they are the only ones which make me travel among the stars and forget about day-to-day problems.
Well, I also read boos about economics, politics, philosophy, sciences and some other stuff sometime.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Well, there's so many interesting books... I like films, but not that much, I really prefer books because everything as to be build in your mind. Cinema is too demonstrative, especialy nowadays...

Books : any book written by Ray Bradbury (especially Fahrenheit 451, a masterpiece in science fiction), he is a real poet. I love all the classics of science-fiction of course. I would also quote the french pilosopher Alain for his immense understanding of humans being.

Music : My master is Amon Tobin, I revere him as a God (and I'm atheistic, that's to say !). I love electronic music, especially underground movements like drum'n'bass, nu-skool break, electro and deep house stuff. I also like ambiant and lounge music.
I also like a lot of other stuff, from heavy metal to blues going through pop-rock or weird japanese childy music, 8 bits stuff, or percussions arrangements.
In a word I love to discover new things in music !

I'm an ordinary man who hate to be ordinary but who as never done anything extraordinary...
Maybe jump from a fully functionnal airplane was the craziest thing I did...

I love to teach, but I'm not sure "teaching" is really appropriate with CS short-time meetings approach, but whatever, we always learn from the others !
