ABOUT ME

This is always difficult! Maybe you'd better read the references below to get an idea of what kind of a person I am.

Let´s give it a try anyway.

I´m a quiet person, social, easy going and very interested in other people, other places, other cultures, ...
I like sports (basketball, capoeira, running, cycling, etc.), music, nature, food, deep conversations and having a good time! I like playing music, although I'm not very good at it yet :)
I try to respect nature, e.g. using my bike as much a possible (I always go to work by bike).

Of course I love travelling, and think it´s fantastic to travel through a country, spending time with people who actually live there and want to share stories, ideas, ...

Soy una persona tranquila, social y muy interesada en otra gente, otros lugares, otras culturas, ...
Me gustan los deportes (el baloncesto, la capoeira, correr, ciclismo, etc.), la música, la naturaleza, la comida, las conversaciones profundas y pasarlo bien! Me gusta mucho tocar la guitarra (aunque no toque bien todaví­a) y los instrumentos de capoeira :)
Trato de respectar la naturaleza, por ejemplo siempre intento desplazarme en bicicleta cuando sea posible (siempre voy al trabajo en bici también).

Por supuesto me encanta viajar, y creo que es maravilloso viajar por un país, conociendo a gente que son de ahí mismo y que quieren compartir ideas, historias, ... !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At home I´ve only had a few experiences yet, having some people come over and spend a few nights (both through CS and just via friends).

I also had a wonderful time traveling in Latin America, Spain and Portugal, thanks to the lovely people I met through Couchsurfing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every single day can be amazing! I've met some amazing people, had some amazing conversations...

But if the question is about 'spectacular' things, then I could say:
-volunteering in Paraguay and travelling through Latin America by bus, from southern Argentina all the way up to Mexico (only took one flight to cross to Panama).
-watching wild seaturtles lay eggs at night on a beach in Indonesia.
-climbing a few active volcanoes (Chile, Indonesia).
-climbing a 5400m high mountain in Bolivia.
-playing with and hugging monkeys in Bolivia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a few things, but of course I have much more things to learn! Even the things I can 'teach', I would like to improve by learning from others! :)

I can teach some capoeira. I would love to learn to play the guitar (I can play a few songs already -thanks to youtube- but can't wait to take some classes and learn more!). I can teach some basic salsa moves, but I'd like to learn to dance a lot more. I can teach some languages, but would like to improve mine as well. Etc., etc. :)
