Overview
About Me
Hi! I was born and raised in Ahmedabad, India. I moved to Denver in 2019 and post Covid, moved to Philadelphia to be closer to family. I am currently working in an accounting firm.
I don't have the literal travel bug but do like to go to a new place once in 3-4 months. I prefer mostly country side and mountains. My target over next few years is to visit each of the National Park in US. With 2 done, there are many more to cover.
From being a crazy party animal to a silent/deep conversation over beer/wine listening to country music, I enjoy both the sides.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To explore different locations and meet new people
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I love Western/Indian classical and Bollywood music. I also have a taste for any genre/music without lyrics but simply focused on beats which are instrument generated and not by computers.
Books - I love to read variety of books excluding fiction. This includes psychology, history, biographies, economics, science, investing, etc.
Movies - I love thriller movies. Netflix has waster probably more than 3000 hours of my life till now and I am constantly trying to not let it make my upcoming life unproductive.
Teach, Learn, Share
- Cook really good Indian food and share recipes
- Teach a thing or two about financial planning and investments
- I love setting up new places and can go into technicalities of optimum brightness and temperature for any place.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Tangible - A mattress/couch in the living area max for two people. I also don't mind my sharing my room, if the need be.
Intangible - Good conversations, beer and some delicious home cooked Indian food.
Location Description - My place is about 30 minutes train ride to Denver downtown and the train station is at a five minute walk. If you are here to explore the mountains, then this is the perfect place as you can skip the downtown traffic.
