About Me

Competitive ultimate frisbee player who was born and raised in Washington state. Youngest of 5 children with Texan parents. Recently left my engineering job to travel and play ultimate around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've spent the vast majority of my life in Washington, I'd like to spend as much time as possible exploring new places and new cultures. There's no better way to see a place than with people that actually live there. I'd like to immerse myself wherever I am in order to learn and share as much as possible.

Interests

On trips I try to be a "Yes" man, that is I'll try pretty much anything. I'm happy on a grand adventure or just staying in and having good conversations with people from different places (even different places in the U.S.). I'm a strong believer that you can learn something from every person you meet in the world and I feel like I have a lot of perspective to gain given my limited exploration.

Music, Movies, and Books

Open to pretty much anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16 I was in a Chevy Tahoe with 9 of my friends doing donuts in a construction site about 200 yards away from my house. We rolled it, nobody was injured, and the driver's parents still believe there were only 2 people in the car.

Teach, Learn, Share

My mother was an incredible cook and passed on a bunch of tips and tricks in the kitchen. I can teach you many different ways to throw a frisbee (or any disc really). Fairly handy, can help out with minor house/car maintenance.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, cleaning, fun conversation, beers, being a fake boyfriend to take home to mom and dad (I'm very good with parents), all your disc throwing needs, medium difficulty home maintenance, gardening, lifting things, whatever you need!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
