My name is Jeff, and I am a Cleveland native who now lives in the Big Apple. I graduated from UPenn in Philadelphia and started my job as an investment banker the following summer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It was a bit of a whimsical decision, honestly. But, I've seldom heard of a lasting story or friendship made by going to a hotel!

When I backpacked Europe, staying in hostels was fun, and the people I met there were extraordinary and colorful. If I can recreate that experience, I would love to do so at every opportunity.

Interests

I am an avid Cleveland sports fan, for better or worse (mostly worst), and I follow the teams as best I can. I also love running and playing pickup basketball, or really doing anything active in general. When I'm hanging out, you'll find me binge watching Netflix series and watching films. And, of course, I love traveling and meeting people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm going to cheat and say movies/tv shows: House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad ; Any movie that manages to surprise me intellectually (think The Usual Suspects/The Prestige).

For music, you can find me literally listening to anything under the sun depending on my mood. I have the hard rock for workouts, the happy pop for the shower, and Phish/big band for hanging out and long car rides.
