Well... More to come but I'm in Eugene right now trying to learn how to surf.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Do dreams count? I think they do. Here's one from the other night...Last night I got a glimpse of what I've been missing. I look to the one that I've been helping along. I look to her truck and wonder how she could have been driving in such a small vehicle, it looked like a clown car. As I'm contemplating the scene I see and hear an airplane. Commercial large. The kind with the wings coming out from the underbelly. I saw the tail whip into a spin, and thought this is going to be bad. I call Cami out to see. As we watched the plane made a circle around the house some three hundred feet up, you could hear the roar of the engines as the pilot tried desperately to gain back control. I looked to cam, and thought this could be it, I thought that I might just die this day. For some reason I was ok with that ending. Something so large that was completely out of my control. Then the plane turned up. Is rose into the air in a vertical pattern taking on all the aspect of a missile, or rocket. It shot up until we couldn't see it any longer then we saw a blast, it had broken the speed of light. With a flash, it started its descent, we watched in amazement as It came down to crash not five or six blocks away. I stood up on something and saw the rubble explode. There wasn't time to think, my mind went into emergency mode as my legs started pumping. I ran as fast and as hard as I could, but slowed to the pace that my brain was thinking finding time between the seconds I looked to my left and saw that others were in this race. I grab the chain link fence to my right one hand after the other in an attempt to gain the speed that I needed to be the first at the scene. I turn the corner and the scene was disaster, the plane had come down on that one way street, eighth street just south of front st. I think about the heat. And look to my bare hand and legs. But there's no time. I yell "GLOVES" and a worker from the JUMP construction hands me a pair. I look into his face and say, I'll return these. As I turn back to the rubble. I couldn't hold the dream open. I'm sure that I continued into the rubble. There just wasn't a choice. People were dying and if I could save just one I was going to do it. Wow. Now that's a dream. My second plane crash. I'm sure there's something to be learned here, but I need to stand back and look at it with blurred eyes.

Teach, Learn, Share

Dreams have been a hobby, I believe that dreams are actual destinations that our minds are able to see clearly when we are completely undistracted, like light has to rebound off something in order to be seen, our dreams are there while awake, however all the light and bustle of reality distracts us from seeing them. I've practiced going back to the same dream multiple times in the same morning, even was able to enter the same dream on the next night with a lot of work. Remembering dreams is a gift, something you can teach yourself, the trick is to not let in any wants in the minutes after waking, thinking only of your dreams. Make them the most important thing in your life and you will be rewarded. Wow I've said too much, lol.
