Overview
About Me
I'm an IT assistant from a suburb in Chicago currently finishing up a double major in history and geography. One of my favorite things in life is to talk to people who come from backgrounds other than my own and challenge my perceptions of the world. People generally say I'm a warm and friendly guy, which I really take a lot of pride in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the end of his life, famed explorer Marco Polo is believed to have said the following: "I told you but one third of what I saw. I never told anyone the rest because they never would have believed me"
This is what I want out of life. I want to meet people who hold a different view of the world than I and visit places I've only read about in books. Alright, maybe that's a bit cheesy but I truly believe in the importance of going out and understanding that the world is comprised of more than just our limited world views.
I'd like to apologize. At the moment, I can't host anyone. I'm also very busy while I finish up school until mid May. That being said, if you'll be visiting Chicago, I'd be happy to do what I can to meet up and show you around!

Music, Movies, and Books
I've always had an eclectic taste in everything and these lists are always annoying so I'm gonna be pretty general.
Music: I mainly lean towards indie rock but I'll listen to pop, electronic, rap, hip hop, and anything else you can think of.
Movies: I love comedies, historical dramas, sci- fi, and fantasy.
Books: History, sci-fi, fantasy.
I'll check otu anything so feel free to give suggestions!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of my favorite memories include talks I've had with Holocaust survivors, getting a running high five with the actor who played the original Green Ranger on Power Rangers, visiting Washington, DC during the Cherry Blossom Festival, ending up drunk in a mall in the middle of the night, and attending a private dinner with a former U.S. president's daughter.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not really sure what to put in this section but I guess the best advice I have is to keep your mind open and remember that confidence is the key to life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My warmth and gratitude. I'm an open book and I'm willing to share my experiences with others. I also consider myself to be a good house guest and will be sure to repay your hospitality!
