About Me

I'm a former Creative Director who decided to quit his job while standing next to Justin Bieber, watching 2Chainz, at a private mansion, at a party we were throwing at Coachella, for McDonald's and Chevy.

This is a true story.

From there, I wanted to do the work I wanted to do. Travel the world. Continue learning. Continue teaching. I want to see all the things I told myself I don't have the time to see. I've taught thousands of students in NYC and online and have worked on some of the biggest international brands in the world. Time for something more exciting.

I want to find and overcome my own challenges. I want to deconstruct how to explore the world and give that blueprint to others.

Let's jam on that together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One time, I really wanted to kiss this girl.

We were laying in bed talking about life and what we wanted. She had reservations about kissing me since we knew a lot of the same people and a host of other reasons. I told her, "Listen. In life there are going to be a billions of people you'll never meet, millions of places you'll never see, and thousands of things you'll never do. I want to do as much as I can before this ride is all over."

It was a romantic idea in a way. It was also true. I believe this. It's something that's rattled in my head ever since.

I want to be around people who inspire me. I want to meet new people who challenge my sense of achievement with their unique stories. I want to give my expertise and advice to others and vice versa. I want to be around cool people, who want to do cool things, and who want to learn how to do other cool things.

Oh, and I totally kissed her.

Interests

If it has to do with art, music, or electricity runs through it, I'm in.

I've been a full-time DJ, creative director, graphic design, illustrator, journalist, and rapid learning enthusiast.

I have an encyclopedic knowledge of video games and music, being a professional in both fields. I'm also obsessed with hip hop dancing, weird/scary movies, drinking local alcohol, and more.

I'm open to learning about what other people are interested in. Nothing is more charming than learning what other people are super nerdy about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Outside of deciding to quit at the height of my career standing next to good ol' JB, one of the most amazing things I've done is help educators and game designers from all over the world create games that have realistically made the world a better place.

Teach, Learn, Share

In the past few years, I've developed a rapid learning protocol.

I set out to both learn and prove that anyone can become COMPETENT in any given skill in a small amount of time. By sharing the protocol with you, I can teach you anything I know and in a matter of minutes, you could do the same.

A major reason I want to travel is so I can give this protocol to other people. I want you to become as obsessed with learning as I am. Over the course of a few minutes (and beers), we could both teach each other invaluable skills.

It is singlehandedly the thing I am most proud of. I've used it to get past major hurdles in my life. I've shared it with people who became inspired to live some of their own journeys. And every time I explain how it works to someone, I see a glitter in their eye that is filled with possibility, enthusiasm, and hope.

If I could share this with everyone, personally, nothing would make me happier.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In addition the my rapid learning protocol, I'd be happy to offer any of my professional skills:

- DJing
- Creative Direction (marketing, brand building, copywriting, etc.)
- Graphic Design
