I am very active. Like to do things, go places. Experience new fun adventures, snorkeling, scuba diving, water skiing, snow skiing, hiking, square dancing, for 25 years, great exercise for body and mind, go out to eat, movies, drive to Palm Springs, or the snow, or go to the beach all close by.
I like to be creative, I make Stained Glass, Fused Glass, wood working, Painting too, Oil, Acrylic, and Water Color Painting, make ceramics, and more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting other people from other countries, and cultures. Love to travel to new countries I have not been to before and explore them. I always find something fun to do socially. Want to make new friends, and try to go visit them in the future also.

Love most music, even disco, oldies but goodies, classical, movie sound tracks, new age, Love Star Wars, Star Trek, Action movies, love The Time Machine, and Journey to the Center of the earth, and adventure books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was on Safari in East Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, on a Camera Safari. And the four of us and our Tour Guide got too close to a pack of wild elephants, and the parents charged our bus! Very scary for a while but we did out run them! And at the same time we got a 4 inch thorn in one of our tires, and had to get out and change it while the elephants watched us very closely! We all survived! We were in a VW bus and they do not have much power or speed, so the elephants got pretty close!
Also went to Tahiti, but it would not let me put it on my Profile! Tahiti was awesome! Loved it there. And I also lived in Hawaii for 6 years too! Learned to Scuba Dive there and was Certified, in Honolulu! 8-)

I am happy to teach friends my art, and skills, learn from them when they are visiting, share places, of interest, the mountains, deserts, beaches, and National Parks, also the plant life here in California. I recently started to collect Cactus, and Succulents! Amazing plants.
