About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy the ride that is life, and the rides on my bike, weather permitting.

ABOUT ME

Hey, I am a friendly and indulgent person, who tries to always make the best of any situation, and typically find myself having fun regardless of what I am doing. I have lived in Halifax almost all my life, but like to drift away whenever the opportunity arises. Currently based in Vancouver, BC, but have been almost continually on the move and living either out of my van, with friends or family, or touring on my motorcycle since May, 2014. I am currently a yoga and acroyoga enthusiast. I try to get outdoors as much as possible, either to camp, ride a bike or motorcycle, hang out in parks, have a fire (ie, light things on fire), swim, hike, climb, walk friends' dogs, generally being active. Love a laugh, a story, a night that ends with a sunrise.

PHILOSOPHY

I always try to consider the fact that tomorrow might never come, tend not to bank on the future. I take opportunities when they come, make the most of each day (with the occasional nap day), and try to maximize the amount of fun that me and the people around me are having. To abandon my shell, and to drag others out of theirs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host quite a few people who are travelling in the Maritimes, and often end up showing CS'ers around to some extent. Surfed while touring from Halifax to Chicago and back on my motorbike. Also met quite a few friends while drifting through NZ and Vietnam. Currently on tour from the east coast of Canada, down through the USA, Mexico, to Central America, and back up the west coast of the Continent, and meeting CSers along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences have normally been pretty great;, freshly made friends, generous people who lend a place to stay out of a sheer joy for randomness. Making lots of great connections in far away places.

Interests

Festivals, touring, yoga, acrobatics, acroyoga, Dancing, Dancing, Dancing, standing on my head, motorcycles, bicycles, climbing, pretending to read while actually just people watching, sometimes actually reading, active living, sustainable living and learning, organic gardening, lakes/oceans/rivers, medieval weaponry, poetry, live music, edm, oversized campfires, a damn good party, chill hangouts, urban exploring, abandoned buildings, graveyards.
