CURRENT MISSION

Jeff - currently working at an NGO supporting people seeking asylum in Sydney. I spent 7 years living in France and Switzerland living the musician dream and studying/working as an opera singer. Then I came back to Sydney during covid to change it all up and do a Master's in International Relations (Human Rights) where I found out that I really wanted to work in humanitarian space, particularly in the areas of forced migration / refugees.

ABOUT ME

Travelling with my partner Michael - We're an easy going couple who met in Sydney. Into nature things, culture and music things and meeting locals to find out the best recs and fun things to do!

Travelling to Central and South America soon before going to Europe to do some volunteering in refugee camps in Greece.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love the idea of people helping each other out with a place to stay. I think it's also a great way to meet a local and share experiences and hopefully someday repay the favour!

Interests

Music and finding new favourite songs, new beaches, exhibitions, learning about things, looking at paintings and photography (portraits), Bernini sculptures, accents and trying to imitate them.

Interested in languages - my French is good now! Learning Spanish.
