I have been staying in a big one bedroom flat all alone for 6 years. If only I have come across couchsurfing before, I would have enjoyed Dubai more beyond the beach and hosting parties at my place - and would have made a lot of cool friends. It would also be interesting to travel via couchsurfing - I would definitely try doing this albeit the allure, luxury, and comfort of hotels.

To start out, I would try my best to be a very good host to willing travelers to get a feel of how it is like and manage my expectations. I am looking forward to having more long lasting friendships from people all over the globe. And this is such a modern and chic way to do it.

My only issues are safety and security, so please bear with me for my house rules at "My Home". They are not too strict, after all, we all seek happiness and fun. And fun it will be!

Books

I love reading. Authors that I like are Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Michiu Kaku, George RR Martin, John Steinbeck. Some recommended books are Love in the Time of Cholera, Physics of the Impossible, A Song of Fire and Ice Series, East of Eden, A Prayer for Owen Meany. Big fan of science fiction novels, especially Hugo and Nebula award winning works.

Movies

All sorts of movies - from science fiction, comedy, adventure, documentaries, action, art films. My quick filter for good movies is it has to be rated "fresh" in rotten tomatoes - it seems that I have parallel tastes with movie critics. Some movie favorites of mine are A Beautiful Life, Shawshank Redemption, Amelie, Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit Trilogy, Heaven Can Wait. Oh there's a lot. Let's just talk it over coffee. For TV series, my current favorites are The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Narcos, Modern Family.

Music

As with movies and books, I have an eclectic taste for music. I play the piano, organ, saxophone, and guitar. Jazz, House, Opera, Pop, World Music, Classical, Rock... the works. But not into death metal - rawwrrr...

I like extreme things - but with risks that are manageable. So one favorite hobby of mine is scuba diving. And I have so many exploits and adventures to share on this aspect.

I love languages. I want to learn from you - my future guests. I want to learn different cuisines, flavors, spices since I love cooking (or at least learning it).

In turn, I could teach some things here and there - just look over my interests and see what interests you. I may not be a good teacher - but I fervently love to share my knowledge to everyone.

I love to have a good time when traveling - especially checking out the nightlife. I am very independent and very obedient to rules, so I won't be of too much trouble to my future hosts, I promise. =) I would love to cook some dishes that I know how to prepare and share a good meal with my hosts. And most importantly, I look forward to sharing an abundant source of happiness, good time, and good will to all. Spread the love!
