Currently splitting my time between Lafayette, where I work as a firefighter, and New Orleans, where I'm working on starting a custom furnishings and design business that I hope will soon let me be in Nola full-time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm interested in CouchSurfing as a better way to see the world than hotels, which I don't like. Meanwhile, I'd like to build my karma by being a host to people visiting Louisiana.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed (the old-fashioned way) all over. On the west coast: San Fran, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver. East coast: Knoxville, D.C., NYC, Montreal, Quebec City. Plus places in between and a couple of Rainbow gatherings, which are kind of like surfing Uncle Sam's couch. I've also hosteled around Europe a bit (UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Croatia and Spain).
