ABOUT ME

I am a high school mathematics teacher and I teach at an international school in Bangkok....great way to experience new cultures and places.

I am planning a massive 60 day bicycle trip through Greece, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, and Czech Republic....since I am pedaling through 4000 kms of roads, I will roll through a number of cities and towns, maybe even near you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined because of the above bicycling trip through Greece, the Balkans, and central Europe...once I am back from the trip, I'll be glad to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. Zero. Unless you count my friends not found here. :)

Interests

Eclectic...fitness, dance(think couples dancing, not booty shaking), anything sciencce and engineering related, historical conflicts (Crusades, WW1, WW2, etc.), fiction, movies, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Italy June 2004 on a Sunday and we go to Saint Peter's square. Well of course its Sunday mass (I am not Catholic or religious) and there are 80000 people there. Out pops John Paul II and he starts SINGING.....the welling up of joy from the crowd was spine tingling...never have I seen so many tears of joy from so many people.

Teach - obviously mathematics and design technology. I have also built my own house, which means I can fix just about everything except the foundation of a house.
