About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To better the world and have a little fun doing it

ABOUT ME

I currently work for the American Red Cross in Durham, NC (recently moved from the West Coast). Thinking about hiking the Appalachian Trail. Spent a while with AmeriCorps and other travel-based service programs. I love volunteering!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know, I guess right now I just want to work and travel as much as possible. I see a great need for both service and advocacy in our society. I used to be a big hippie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Did the whole hitchhiking/international travelling thing and then found out there was this cool website! I couchsurfed and visited friends along the East Coast a couple of years ago, but haven't been too active since. I hope to someday have a couch of my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

See above. Met some cool people, including a disc golf fanatic in New York, a bluegrass band in Baltimore, and a National Geographic intern in DC.
