About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the most of my time.

ABOUT ME

Grapefruit is my favourite fruit. I like to skip the pleasantries as quickly as socially acceptable and get into high quality conversation. Alternatively, I enjoy wandering in what I consider to be strange places.

PHILOSOPHY

Be open to having been completely wrong

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't yet. Hoping to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed before, nor as anyone surfed my couch. Thats a situation I hope to change.

Interests

Watching the same movie more than once
Getting lost in foreign cities and countryside.
Finding another Kurt Vonnegut book that I did't know existed. Realizing that I'm in the middle of absolutely nowhere and not knowing which direction to go. Trusting the hand-signalled directions of people who don't understand me and whom I don't understand. Getting involved in talks that take on a momentum of their own and go on for hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bands that play in open air festivals.
Crime and Punishment. I can't imagine how he thinks this stuff up.
The Big Lebowski. I'm a movie freak though, and it hurts to name just one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in Honduras I ate a grapefruit more delicious than I ever imagined possible.
In that same place there was a mango tree in my backyard.
Cruising down a hill on bike for over an hour, then realizing only after that I had crossed from Spain into France. Makes me really annoyed with the Canada-US border.

Teach, Learn, Share

Einstein summarized his theories in easy-to-read booklets. From that, I believe that no concept is too complicated to convey, and anyone who says so is simply a poor teacher.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Guatemala, Italy, Nicaragua, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Honduras, Israel
