ABOUT ME

I'm very laid back. I've lived in Kitchener Waterloo for almost my entire life, so I know it well. I enjoy traveling but I'm finding it equally important to build community at home. I find community in yoga, healthy lifestyle choices, festivals, dancing.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that I, and others are all learners and every moment offers an opportunity for learning.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted about a dozen people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up until this point I have yet to do any couchsurfing. I've hosted but have yet to ride the wave myself.

Interessi

I enjoy indoor wall climbing and yoga. I've recently gotten involved in a men's group and it has opened my eyes to a whole new world. One of my favorite things to do is to cook, it is one of the ways that I can be intentional about spending time with myself. Meditation is a grounding force in my life but I'm also very interested in movement; dance, yoga, rolling around on the floor - whatever :) I've come to appreciate how nourishing walking is for my body over the past few years and I feel strongest when I am walking distances regularly.

Biked naked through the streets of Toronto for a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon - 5 times!

I'm always looking to meet people who can open my mind up to new perspectives. I'm always learning to become a better listener.
