About Me
I could say I'm at the start of a new chapter. Sounds a bit philosophical... and I guess it is :-)
In short: I've had really conservative parents, we almost never travelled and staying with strangers was the last thing you could think of.
At this moment I am 29, married & got 2 kids ( 2 and 4 years old). Got a teaching bachelor, but I ended up working at an engraving company. It's a nice job, but it's not the adventure i've been waiting for so to speak.
About the 'new chapter' thing I mentioned. Some people might say or think that being 30 years old, married and having 2 kids are the definition of 'you are too late for adventures and traveling'. But I think it is just about the right time!
It is never too late to change, never to late to start a new adventure!
My childhood was far from a freeing and exciting experience, and now I let my work take up too much of my time. I decided to stop thinking that the 'adventure-life' is not for me. So here I am, a newbie @ couchsurfing!
Other things I decided to do with this NEW START?
- I started running again, since 12 years!
- I am going to start a course 'wall climbing'.
- In the spring of 2019 I am going on a hiking traill for a few days in Germany.
