Overview
About Me
I am a Christian guy that loves to travel, do some extreme sports, and also relax at the piano or with a book. I enjoy my education at college, and love to learn!
It has been a recent development in my life I think, that I would say creativity is very important to me. I love to write my own music, and am currently working on writing a book. I feel like it is creativity that allows a person to go outside the normal, routine bounds of who they are, and become someone better, someone more rounded, and someone who can appreciate a multitude of life's aspects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am in college and traveling on a budget! I would definitely love to meet some people who live in other places, make some friends, and its always amazing to meet someone with local knowledge! In traveling around the world a bit for sailing (see One Amazing Thing I've Done) I've already seen the crazy cool impacts of having friends all around the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love Stephen Curtis Chapman, Jack Johnson, Third Day, NEEDTOBREATHE, and I also enjoy writing and playing my own music!
Books: The Bible, CS Lewis (Especially Screwtape Letters), G.K. Chesterton, J.R.R. Tolkien, Harry Potter, and currently reading The Brothers Karamazov.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to competitively sail and travelled around the world with Team USA!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn new things; while I've been in college I have found a great love for education and it has manifested in being slower to speech and quicker to listen.
I can teach you some basics on piano if you would like, also if you would like to learn about Christianity and what it's all about, just ask!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll share anything! I'm definitely up for some good conversations: about life, love, values, beliefs, and passions!
