About Me

I was raised on a farm in Western Australia. I like to think I'm pretty easygoing and I love meeting people.
I play guitar, harmonica and am learning to play the didgeridoo.
I like helping out where I can especially outdoors when the weather is nice.
Currently travelling with my guitar to meet other musical people and explore music and different music styles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Am travelling the world and a friend recommended Couchsurfing. I thought it would be a nice way to meet people travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Blues and folk music. I grew up on country music and I can't deny that country holds an element of my influences. Anything from the 60-80s eras are fantastic, I am a believer that good music went to rest after the 80s.

Movies - The boat that rocked, Crocodile Dundee, Smokey and the Bandit, Grease, National Treasure, Kids movies including but not limited to Rio, Cars, Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Book.
I'm certain that there are a few others I've overlooked.

T.V. - Long way round, Big Bang Theory, Mash, How I Met Your Mother, Through the Wormhole

Books - Band or Singer songwriter Biographies, Treasure Island, The Three Musketeers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sold my car and left the comfort and security of my home country to travel the world with a backpack and my guitar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about music as well as sharing what I know especially with playing guitar. I am a somewhat self taught guitarist and am always keen to learn new things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can play guitar and I like to play for people as well as jam with others. I like to learn from other musicians as well as share anything that I've learnt. I also grew up on a farm in Australia and have a lot of practical experience to share. I am also willing to help out with anything I can.
