About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discovering life after quitting my job by traveling and working from wherever I please and making new friends everywhere I go
ABOUT ME
I'm open to talking to anyone. Perhaps I'm a bit shy at first, but I'm quick to come out of my shell once I feel comfortable.
I'm definitely open to alternative styles of living life. I'm currently battling against the typical full-time work thing and have recently become a freelance writer. I've taken things on the road after quitting my job here in the States.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meting new people around the world!
Interests
I'm a beer lover for sure. I brew my own when I'm at home, and I'm sure I've tried over 1,000 varieties now.
I'm currently an occasional pescaterian (mostly vegetarian, but sometimes have fish), and I've been that way for almost 8 years. I love food, though, and I definitely enjoying cooking and trying new things.
I'm a serious biker, too. I ride it every day (since I don't own a car), rain, snow, whatever.
Some of my other favorite things to do are sing karaoke (even though I'm not great at it), dance (not so good at this, either), and running (I'm at least okay at this :) As you can probably tell, I love doing things I find fun no matter what others think and if I'm good at it or not.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Classic rock, electronic, anything I can dance to
Books: Mostly nonfiction, but I love The Book Thief, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Catch-22
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't even come close to doing as many amazing things as others have, but here are some of my highlights so far:
1 - Greek Isles are absolutely amazing. So many great views, beaches, and other great stuff to see
2 - Visiting Barcelona - I know a lot of people love it, but there's just something about it that makes it special. Hanging out with locals and getting to try out the non-touristy stuff was definitely one of my highlights from here.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about beer - styles, brewing it, etc. It's definitely a passion of mine. If you have any questions about breweries and beer in Portland, I can answer them.
I'm pretty knowledgeable about bikes, too.
I enjoy vegetarian cooking for sure. There's a lot you can do with veggies!
