I want to see other parts of the world, meet people, take risks, make mistakes, and experience life and all of the shit and the bliss with which it comes. I want to put out into the universe what I want to get from it, which I know is sometimes hard.

ABOUT ME

I was born near the lake and corn fields of lower Michigan. I've lived in Marquette in the Upper Peninsula for most of my adult life working at restaurants, hiking through forests, swimming in rivers and lakes, picking berries at dusk, walking two miles uphill everyday in blizzards that people tell their grandkids about. I lived in the mountains of Peru for a year, dancing and teaching and learning. Then a small town in the middle of Spain, with much glitter and mad nights that lasted 'till the morning light. And now I'm in Madrid, finding puzzle pieces and putting them together.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch and my kitchen are always open to guests and friends. We are four people living in a relatively small flat, and one of us usually has a friend staying over. But when we can, we love to host! My flatmates were the first people I'd ever surfed with, and now we share a good house and a great friendship. I surf as much as I can, and try to share a meal, a drink, a conversation with everyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've surfed Madrid, Cuenca, Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, Valencia, Cáceres and Barcelona, in Spain. I've also been to several cities in Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Italy and France. And every time I leave a person's home I am amazed at how beautiful humanity is. All of my experiences have been incredibly wonderful ones. Thank you, all of you who are part of this great community.

Interessi

I love seeing new and beautiful things, as well as the old, familiar beautiful things. I like meeting people and talking about stuff, even though I can be kind of shy at first. I love coffee, music, glitter, and brick-a-brack among other things. I write journals and take photos. And there's nothing more wonderful than cooking and enjoying a meal in good company.
