Currently I am seeking adventure, and living life to the fullest extent. I wish to see as much as possible, and once I find where I am supposed to be, I will have a couch open to all who seek comfort!

ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing, professional Barista at a specialty cafe in Portland, serving world class coffees to all who crave excellence! When I am not making your latte, I am writing, taking photographs, or exploring the world that surrounds me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to this website, and would like to contribute as much as possible in the future. Currently I am backpacking through the United States and all of South America. My first destination once I leave the US is Lima, Peru, from there I intend on travelling via suggestion from those who I meet on my journey!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The most memorable couch surfing experience that Jeffrey has encountered was when he was only 11 years old, he called his Mom after school and she said she had picked up a hitchhiker from the Czech Republic and he was going to be staying at their house for the night. At first, Jeffrey was skeptical, but once Mom explained how she would hope that when Jeffrey grew older, that when he was travelling that people he came across would do the same for him. It left a lasting impact and Jeffrey is excited that his Mother "paid it forward" for his future adventures.

Since then, I have opened up my couch for many travelers in Portland, OR (not via CS) and have met many beautiful and interesting people. Now it's my turn to do the surfing!

Interests

I enjoy craft beer, specialty coffee, specialty food, cycling, vespa riding, music, writing, reading, photography, camping/the outdoors. Most of all i enjoy conversations around a campfire or patio table with a glass of hoppy beer!

Music, Movies, and Books

I avoid most film/TV. As for music? Anything that has feeling to it, heart, or something that provokes emotion, or thought.

I find myself reading mostly non-fiction on subjects that interest me, I love learning about history and technology, i also greatly enjoy reading poetry. I rarely find myself reading fiction.... Why read a story when you can make your own?!?!?!
