About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring the world one activity at a time
ABOUT ME
My wife and I love exploring new areas and trying new activities. We also like meeting new people and hearing all the different stories they have to offer. I love to travel, eat different foods and try whatever the local area has to offer. In my spare time, I enjoy doing house projects, writing or playing any kind of sport (although I wouldn't consider myself a competitive person). My wife and I recently got into acro yoga, so we've spent several nights in our garage with YouTube learning new poses. We just recently did our first performance, super stoked to keep learning.
PHILOSOPHY
You can learn something from everyone given the chance
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea of Couchsurfing and have both surfed and hosted. While still relatively new to Couchsurfing, I am very excited to meet new people both coming and going.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great experience both hosting and surfing. Although I live in a small town, I've had the pleasure of hosting several interesting individuals. When surfing, my trips always seem more lively. The world needs more people like those I've stayed with on my travels.
Interests
Rock climbing, running, traveling, writing, woodworking, painting, across yoga, ultimate frisbee, blogging (www.just-jeffers.com) and an assortment of others
Music, Movies, and Books
This is problematic because I read a lot and enjoy listening to music when I read. So I will go with genre, but even that isn't to telling since I like pretty much everything. For music, my favorite is indie rock, alt rock, pop, mainstream rock, hip hop, a dash of techno, and country. For reading, I prefer science fiction/fantasy that makes me wonder. I also enjoy reading cultural non-fiction to learn more about different countries' histories and viewpoints.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Marrying my awesome wife tops the list hands down.
Teach, Learn, Share
Rock climbing, acro yoga, engineering, writing, and construction
What I Can Share with Hosts
I usually travel with my wife, and we are both avid acro yogis. If you are one too, we'd love to jam. If not, we would love to share some of the basics with you.
